SSI's 2500 Series of pre-load compactors are the perfect compaction solutions for MSW transfer, material recovery, and scrap facilities that require throughput of less than 300 tons per day. The 2500 SPH pre-load compactor features a single-stage, dual-acting cylinder designed to form two high-density, square-ended bales suitable for transferring municipal solid waste, recyclables, or other commodities into highway and intermodal trailers or containers. Although originally intended for transfer stations with less than 300 tons per day throughput, the 2500 SPH has demonstrated its reliability as a consistent workhorse.
